This was a fascinating read. I never usually like to read about what people think another is feeling, but it’s interesting to see the impact it clearly has on others. David Kolber. Kolber has such a clear interest in Westerkamps’ work. Reading this article is less like reading an analytic document and more like discussing a project with a visiting practitioner; it feels personal and full of passion and devotion. Kolber analyses the thoughts, feelings, and motivation of Westerkamp. Kolber’s understanding of sound means that he is able to understand the messages and stories that Westerkamp is portraying.
