Editing V1, V1.5 & V2

V1:
I began editing by just putting together all the base audios I wanted to use; the Bakerloo line recording and the Mind the Gap recording. I started by adjusting the gain of the recordings and moving them into the correct order. I didn’t know how to use pan automation on an audio file in protools, so I had to find a tutorial on youtube. I will put this tutorial below. I also added reverb to each of the files and make sure each file faded in out and out appropriately. I originally added EQ to the audio to try and make the audio sound more crisp and clear but I then thought that it sounded better when it was less professional; it made it more uncomfortable to listen to.

V1.5:
I’ve called this 1.5 as it was just me fixing the volume and lowering the reverb slightly. I didn’t feel like these adjustments were enough to warrant another number.

V2:
This edition was me adding more files and adjusting the volumes and fades. the end of V1.5 felt very sudden which I didn’t like very much, I made the fade much longer. I also split the talking up to enable me to adjust the gain of each individual clip. this is because the talking wasn’t able to be heard during the loud parts of the journies.
